PersonhoodWV: The first month!

Nearly 2,000 signatures… and counting.

It’s a campaign!  It’s a movement!

Yes!  It’s PersonhoodWV!

It’s hard to imagine that it was only one short month ago when PersonhoodUSA co-founder, Mr. Cal Zastrow, and his family drove into West Virginia on their way to the first PersonhoodWV meeting.  Only one month ago, folks in our state heard a detailed description of the Personhood initiative and what was possible with prayer and hard work.  And then they started praying and working hard.

All around us, wonderful new things are happening as the PersonhoodWV petition is circulated around the state.  (Left: Hampshire County Church petition drive: All Below: Hampshire County Fair.) 

Already, only one month after the official launch of PersonhoodWV, volunteers have collected nearly 2,000 signatures on a petition that will save lives.

The Lord, through His people’s hard work and heartfelt prayers, is opening the public’s eyes to a new opportunity.  People are beginning to see a chance to set things right, an opportunity to help end an atrocity that most have perceived as inevitable and permanent: Abortion.

“For with God, nothing shall be impossible.” (Luke 1:37)  This must be our cry, for PersonhoodWV is attempting what seems to be an impossibly huge task.  However, when you’re fighting on the Lord’s side, the odds look amazingly good.

PersonhoodWV volunteers across the state have already taken the message of life to at least two county fairs, many churches, a marriage rally…even to a TEA party!  Let’s keep going for the King’s babies!

Please keep sending in updates, including photos, whenever you present PersonhoodWV in your community.  This helps us know who is doing what and where so we can summarize how PersonhoodWV is moving across the state.  Also, just let us know if you need help with literature or anything else.

PersonhoodWV is still working on a website.  Until further notice, please continue to direct folks to PersonhoodUSA.com. 

Progress is also being made in reviewing the incorporation process for organizations like PersonhoodWV.  We will keep you updated.

Praise God for a strong and AWESOME first month!  May He continue to be with us all through the days and months ahead as we continue in this effort.
